New investments to arrive to Nuevo Leon
After announcing the establishment and expansion of two new companies that will invest 70 million dollars in the entity, Nuevo Leon continues positioning as one of the States that offers the best conditions to invest.
According to a report from the Ministry of Economy and Labor of the State (SEDET, by its Spanish initials) in the last two years Nuevo Leon has captured more than 10 billion dollars in foreign capitals.
“I know most of companies worldwide seek for suitable conditions and qualified workforce, and Nuevo Leon has an extraordinary condition in every subject,” said Jaime Rodriguez Calderon, state official.
“No one in their right mind will invest in Nuevo Leon if there were not the conditions of security, workers’ training, sufficiency in education, infrastructure and suitable finance system, enough water and energy,” added Rodriguez Calderon.
The governor held a meeting with officials from the Ministry of Economy and Labor, where new investments were announced for Nuevo Leon.
The Korean company LS Automotive Corp. will be located at the Finsa Guadalupe Industrial Park; where with an investment of 61 million dollars will generate 1,063 direct jobs.
LS Automotive Corp. is one of the biggest shareholders in the market for switches for vehicles and components in Korea and at an international level. Founded in 1973 it has its headquarters in Ansan, South Korea.
In addition, it was informed that the company Conduent Inc., with headquarters in New Jersey, United States, will address an investment of 9 million dollars generating 420 direct jobs.
Conduent Inc. is a company of commercial processes services led by technology, offering digital platforms for companies of all sectors and Governments.
Finally, Samuel Pena, undersecretary of Investment and Industrial Promotion, detailed that in October 2015 to date investments for new companies were announced and expansions by 10 billion dollars of FDI of 202 foreign companies.
