With an investment of 12 million euros and the generation of 360 direct jobs to two years, the French company Fareva starts operations in the municipality of San Jose Iturbide. This is the second plant in Mexico from where they will expand their offer in the country and North America


This company dedicated to the manufacture of cosmetic, pharmaceutical and home products, is located in an area of 8.5 hectares, with 10,600 m2 of construction, where it will have the capacity to produce 70 million units per year.


Bernard Fraisse, president of the Grupo Fareva, announced the project of a new line of aerosols, with an additional investment of 8 million euros with a capacity of 70 million units and 3 production lines, this project will be starting in a period of 18 months.


In this regard, Christophe Petras, operations manager of Grupo Fareva, explained that the company chose the State of Guanajuato to install its second plant because of its strategic location, educational system and human talent, which will allow the consolidation of its corporate plans in the development of products of the cosmetic sector.


He added that the aerosol technology used by Grupo Fareva has been a market leader throughout its history, so he said he was excited to expand his horizons now in Mexican territory especially in the center of the country.


Sergio Ibarra, general director of Fareva San Jose Iturbide, said that this cosmetic plant has 12 research laboratories where different innovative techniques are applied to the sector, positioning itself as one of the leading companies in its field.

“In a period of two years we will be producing 150 million pieces to get 360 permanent jobs; our land has enough space for short-term expansion plans.”


The plant includes a storage area of 10,000 pallets and 11 production lines with five additional lines that will operate by the end of this year to reach 120 million units.



Fareva was founded in 1990 in the region of Ardeche, on the banks of the Rhône River in Tournon, with specialists in the world of chemistry, developers in Research, Formulation, Manufacture and Packaging.
