With an initial investment of 1 million dollars, the company S&MOHR America opened a plant in Estado de Mexico territory which will dedicate to the elaboration of products and devices for health, which will redound in the generation of quality and well-paid jobs.
The company will be dedicated to manufacturing anesthesia circuits, as well as of venting, products used before and after surgery. About 70 % of surgeries require general anesthesia, for which a circuit is required for each procedure and up to now, these devices are subjected to import processes.
Alejandro Von Mohr, CEO of the company, said that they are the first Mexican company to produce these supplies in the Estado de Mexico, which have become life support before and after surgery, and that will facilitate being available promptly and with a competitive price. “We are starting the first stage that implies manufacturing the entire range of circuits; we have the equipment and necessary components, but we will slowly settling additional equipment.”
Tahsin Timur Soylemez, Turkey ambassador in Mexico, said that the opening of this plant allows strengthening the economic and commerce relations between both countries.
Finally, they announced that they settled in Estado de Mexico for being a strategic place to serve not only the national market but to reach entire Latin America.
The Estado de Mexico has more than 17 million inhabitants in the country and with 8.6 million people in the economically active population, which makes the entity attractive for investments.
