In order to reverse phenomena like drought and erosion in the Mexican Northern States, Oradel participates in reforestation programs in the municipality of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas.

Oradel Industrial Park got involved in reforestation programs in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas to reverse drought and erosion phenomena that affects Mexico Northern States.

With a significant environmental work, Oradel has about eight years collaborating to reforest the state of Tamaulipas to which has donated around 3,385 trees.

The main reforestation initiatives in which Oradel Industrial Park has been involved are seeking to reverse the drought affecting Tamaulipas and that show alarming progress, according to studies of the local government.

In almost a decade, Oradel has donated trees for reforestation projects from the personnel working in the Industrial Park maquilas.  They have also participated in strategies with that same objective encouraged by the Colegio Irlandes, the elementary schools El Campanario and San Augustin; and schools Gabriel Zaldivar, Silva, Luis Donaldo Colosio Murrieta, San Augustin de Laredo, and Cecilio J. Castillo.

Other Oradel important participation in the reforestation initiative have joined programs from SEDUMA TAM – and on its branch in Reynosa – as well as in sowing trees in Nuevo Laredo and on internal properties of the Industrial Park.  Since 2011, Oradel Industrial Park has contributed to reforestation on request from Nuevo Laredo Government.


The fundamental object of the Oradel commitment regarding environmental care is to generate green spaces to improve the environment since they have always worked for a positive impact of the Industrial park.  During the first quarter of 2019, Oradel sowed about 50 trees, confirming with this action that Oradel works every day to improve the environment.
