During the promotional visit held by the Governor of Tamaulipas, Francisco Javier Garcia Cabeza de Vaca to the plant from the biomedical sector Haemotronic in Mirandola, Italy; directives from this company announced their next expansion of their plant located in Reynosa, Tamaulipas.
Haemotronic de Mexico arrived in Reynosa in 2017, it specializes in the manufacturing of plastic components for the medical industry. The fact of foreign companies continues arriving in the border city of Reynosa is a positive sing of the confidence investors have in this area. It is thanks to the geography, the market and specially the workforce working in Reynosa that companies as Haemotronic decided to invest in an industrial building and generate job opportunities.
Reynosa is one of the best options for manufacturing companies such as Haemotronic; due to its geographic position, since it is an entrance door with the United States, but mainly for its qualified workforce.
From Italy, Haemotronic announces the expansion of their plant installed in Reynosa, Tamaulipas
The Tamaulipas delegation, led by Francisco Garcia Cabeza de Vaca, governor of Tamaulipas; Carlos Alberto Garcia Gonzalez, secretary of Economic Development of Tamaulipas; and Sergio Luis Garcia Badiola, undersecretary of investments promotion from the Government of Tamaulipas held a meeting with high executives from the biomedical Italian company Haemotronic, among whom were Ettore Ravizza, CEO for America of Haemotronic; Mattia Ravizza, CEO of the company in Italy; and Luigi Ravizza, member of the council of the Italian company; the directives of Haemotronic officially announced the expansion of their operations plant located in Reynosa, Tamaulipas.
At the meeting, the Tamaulipas delegation presented the economic outlook of the State and announced the Haemotronic executives the incentives package for all companies interested in investing.
The new facilities in Reynosa, Tam., will have 65 thousand square feet, where they will focus their production to plastic injection, molding and assembly.
It is worth underlining that the clean rooms for molding and assembly are certified by the standard ISO 14644 class B. The operation will be certified with the quality management system ISO 13485:2016 and registered at FDA.
The impact of the project in numbers
The investment will generate 500 direct jobs for Reynosa, supplying not only to the United States and Canada, but also for Latin America. The project considers forefront technology.
In order to support the economy of Reynosa, the construction and expansion will hire local companies.
Suppliers will be local and international with which strategical alliances will be done in a medium and long term.
