Nuevo Leon present in Hannover Messe 2018

 

A Delegation integrated by approximately 120 companies’ representatives, clusters and universities in the entity, attended the largest manufacturing and industrial technology fair worldwide held in Germany, from April 22nd to 27th 2018.


The secretary of Economy and Labor, Fernando Turner Davila, said that they installed the Nuevo Leon Pavilion at the Hannover fair, through which they showed the business ecosystem of the entity, as well as the economic leadership, industrial, of education and services.


In addition, they presented Nuevo Leon as the most important reference of Latin America in the implementation of a manufacturing 4.0 model.


“We would like to demonstrate the world that Nuevo Leon is the main manufacturing platform on this side of the Atlantic and on this side of the Pacific and we would like a modern, big, organized State be seen, with a strong business ecosystem, first level universities, research institutes, training and infrastructure, with thousands of supply companies and with an excellent workforce, to assure the future flux of investments towards the State,” he said.


Mexico was named invited country for Hannover Messe 2018, in which more than 2,500 leaders of the highest levels in the industry participated, about 100 presidents of administration councils from companies and more than 300 means of communication.


Regarding the Nuevo Leon Delegation that attended Hannover Messe 2018, was detailed that it was integrated by 120 representatives from small, medium and large companies, deans from the four most important universities in the entity such as the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon (UANL,) UDEM, ITESM and U-ERRE, as well as from six clusters.


The Hannover Messe 2018 activities started on Sunday April 22nd with the opening and on Monday 23rd was held the opening of the Nuevo Leon Pavilion, with an area of about 800 meters in which the entity’s business ecosystem was exhibited before leaders from around the world.
