Mexico is the first Latin American and of Spanish speaking country invited as partner country of the Hannover Messe Fair, which was held from April 23rd to 27th in Germany.


Under the motto “Mexico exceeds expectations,” about 110 Mexican companies and one national delegation of 1,500 people attended the Hannover Messe Fair 2018 to show Mexico’s industrial potential and promote its advantages.


Paulo Carreno King, general director of ProMexico, said that according with the Fair organizers, all expectations were exceeded, mainly due to Mexico’s position as an industrial innovation ally, which has locate it as one of the strategic advanced manufacturing centers.


To celebrate Mexico’s participation in Hannover Messe, ProMexico held a Mexican night at the National Pavilion where members of the Mexican delegation, as well as industrials and international companies gather together to create contact networks.


In a -color-ful celebration of alebrijes and papel picado, guests enjoyed an evening accompanied by music, tequila and Mexican dishes.


Representatives from different federal institutions participated at the Fair led by the President of the Mexican Republic and representatives from the states of Aguascalientes, Campeche, Coahuila, Colima, Durango, Estado de Mexico, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Oaxaca, Puebla, Queretaro, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potosi, Tamaulipas and Tlaxcala.


Companies were also present such as AMD, American Industries, Arbomex, Cemex, Femsa, Ikor, Integra Automation, Makermex, Metalistik, Mexico Industry  Solutto Engineering, Servicios Vistamex and Vynmsa; Industrial Clusters and Associations such as the Mexican Association of Industrial Parks (AMPIP, by its Spanish initials) and Research & Development Centers, among others.
