With an investment of 40 million pesos and the creation of 40 direct jobs, the Ministry of Economic Development opened the company Viansa Alimentos, at the municipality of Atrangatepec.

 

Viansa Alimentos has the certification “Tipo Inspeccion Federal” (TIF, Federal Inspection Type) which means their products are made with high quality and hygiene and guarantees consumers safety.

 

Jorge Luis Vazquez, head of SEDECO Tlaxcala, said that agro-industry is one of the sectors that has more certainty, viability and wide economic growth possibilities for businessmen dedicated to this business.

 

Meanwhile, Ernesto Tapia Hernandez, president of the company, underlined that after obtaining the TIF recognition granted by the National Service of Sanity and Food Safety (SENASICA, by its Spanish initials) they will currently seek to obtain the certification that allows them to export their products to China and expand their company.

 

Likewise, he thanked the facilities and support the State Administration has given them to settle the first plant in the State, which has an excellent geographic location that will allow them to move their products to strategic points such as Mexico City.

 

Viansa Alimentos is the third company in the entity to have the TIF certification and is mainly dedicated to the cut, boning and packaging of pork meat.  One of the commitments of the company is generating direct jobs in benefit of settlers of the region, as well as distributing products of the best quality.

 

The event was attended by Daniel Corona Moctezuma, delegate of the Ministry of Economy in Tlaxcala; Jose Macias Gonzalez, mayor of Atlangatepec; Jose de Jesus Carrillo, micro watershed coordinator FIRCO Tlaxcala; Maricarmen Ancona Ruz, general coordinator of Viansa Alimentos; and Ricardo Razo Dominguez, plant manager at Viansa Puebla.
