About 800 business appointments were held, with the intention of detonating medical tourism in the country

The 8th Medical Tourism Congress 2017 in Ciudad Juarez was attended by 32 companies from 8 countries. During the event, there were around 800 business appointments, with the intention of detonating medical tourism in the country. It was attended by facilitators and health professionals from countries such as Cuba, Colombia, Costa Rica, United States, Canada, Guatemala, Italy and, of course, Mexico.

“The lectures imparted were a success; there were dynamics of questions and answers. Participants have shown great interest in the topics covered. With regard to business meetings, around 800 appointments were generated between international and domestic buyers. Foreign visitors were left with a great image of the city; completely different from the one perceived abroad,” said Carlos Arceo, president of the Medical Tourism Congress.
