The president of Desarrollo Economico de Norte A. C., Hector Nunez, held a talk with local entrepreneurs to publicize the pros and cons of the relationship between Mexico and China, to enhance the commercial relationship between both countries.
The meeting was attended by Daniel Galindo, who has lived for 7 years in Shenzhen, China, and collaborates with companies doing business there, facilitating commercial relations, logistics and validating products and suppliers.
Beyond the exclusive issues of the industrial sector, it is important to highlight factors that are also determinants in a negotiation with a country like China, which is completely different from Mexico.
“Mexican companies must take care of their image, so we will always have the doors open for new ways of doing business in other countries,” said Hector Nunez.
Also, the president of DENAC spoke about the importance of the associativity of the local companies, without having to depend exclusively on the governmental sector. “These development initiatives for the region are not government. We must not use the government to hide our limitations. Entrepreneurs must take responsibility for development in Ciudad Juarez.”
For his part, Daniel Gallardo shared some of his experience in China and spoke about the goodness of the industry in Ciudad Juarez: “We do not need to bring finished products from China, because Juarez has enormous potential to develop products. The Chinese are good at adopting designs made elsewhere and subsequently improving them. So we must take advantage of our talent to find the best way to benefit.”
